RANGE OF SIZES
Single coils from 450 to over 75,000 CFM. Units may be banked for larger system capacities. Eighty-four casing sizes and four tube-row configurations make it easy to fit the requirements of any system design. Since the unit assembly of coil and air control diffusers arrives on the job site as a complete package (with your damper operations mounted, is shipped to us in advance), you have complete assurance of exacting performance in your installation.

PERFORMANCE AND CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
ISOMIX® is the ultimate in preheat coil systems. Carefully built to exacting design at the factory, each unit consists of alternate heating and by-pass passages,  with unique air control diffusers:

-  to control final air temperatures within ±2°F
-  to direct hot and cold air streams to mix within 24"
-  to produce constant pressure drop (±5%) in all damper positions

ISOMIX is virtually freeze-proof, with vertical tubes for positive drainage, while operating on full steam pressure or water flow at all times.

ISOMIX has air control diffusers on the downstream side, which mix the air, as well as proportion the amounts to be heated and by-passed, to satisfy the system thermostat. A set of upstream dampers provide complete shut-off of the heat passages when the controlling thermostat is satisfied, limiting temperature override.

Construction is of heavy gauge galvanized steel throughout, reinforces with galvanized steel angles for rigidity. The headers are spring-mounted in the casing, top and bottom, with the exchanger tubes always in tension to allow for expansion stresses. Control diffusers have brass shafts and nylon bearings. The linkages are stainless steel, and the main connections are of pin-and-clevis, tamper-proof design.

PERFORMANCE AND CONSTRUCTION FEATURES
POSITAIRE, the ultimate heating and ventilating unit in temperature control, is also the ultimate in versatility. Incorporating a single centrifugal fan with motor and drive within the casing, and filtering and mixing accessories to meet your requirements, POSITAIRE may be suspended in the space to be served, mounted in your fan room, or located on the roof. Roof mounted units may be supported on steel, or can be equipped for curb mounting with all piping and wiring connections within the curb space.

POSITAIRE features Control Air's "ARI" certified ISOMIX preheat coil as standard component. This integral face and preheating coil (for steam or hot water operation) eliminates stratification and erratic temperature control inherent with conventional units, and provides the maximum in freeze protection. ISOMIX control diffusers do not restrict air flow; you get all the air you designed for, all the time.

The fans section is constructed of galvanized steel panels welded to structural steel support members. Fan compartment has hinged access to allow maintenance of motor and drives, and a single centrifugal fan designed to meet the type, Class and Discharge Orientation per your requirements. Fan shaft is solid, cold-drawn steel, turned, ground and polished for long bearing life. Bearings are of the pillow black, continuous duty type, with either grease fittings or permanently lubricated bearings as required.
